Hello Families of Alvah Scott
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year. I am so excited to be your child's PE Teacher this year. We are going to have lots of fun while learning and creating memories. I am looking forward to working with your child to teach them different aspects of getting exercise and working with a team. A little about me, I just retired after 20 years of being a Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Roosevelt High School. I also have coached many other sports over the year including baseball, volleyball and football. My oldest son Taven is a pitcher at Stephen F Austin and my youngest son Trystan(Bear) is a rising football and baseball player at Punahou School. My wife Tara was a VP at Moanalua High School and now works in the District Office. I have been teaching at Alvah Scott for the last 16 years in PE, Grade 5, and Grade 6.
If your child is out for a medical reason, broken bone, sprain, etc, I must have a Doctor's note for them to return to PE.
If there is anything that you feel I need to know about your child, please let me know. I appreciate you all and know that together, we will achieve amazing success!
