Technology Coordinator

Aloha Students and Parents!  Let's talk technology.... At our school, we have Apple iPads for Grades Pre-K and First Grade.  We have Dell Chromebooks for grades 2 through 6.  We use Macbook laptops for the teachers and Dell Computers for the Special Education teachers.  We have several programs such as ConnectED, IXL, iReady, GoMath and Code.org.  We also have coding programs such as Tynker, Scratch and CS First for the upper grades.  We offer newscasts using Vimeo and continue to upgrade our video club equipment.  We are also using Canva which is a free program for educators and this helps us to design websites, brochures, videos and much more.  

 

Just a little bit about me, I am originally from Pennsylvania and have many years in education, and even more in the computer field.  In my spare time I like to unwind with a nice walk, I enjoy yoga and I also like to jump in the ocean on a hot day.  I love spending time with my family, both here in Hawaii and on the East Coast!  And my newest love is a 12 lb. puppy that I love to take on walks each day.  Thanks for checking out my page, see you soon!!!
